An expedition or all-inclusive?

with Brak komentarzy

Small groups, trips to more and more distant places. Getting to know the local life. Contemporary tourism probably goes away from all-inclusive holidays. Tourists are no longer enough to lie by the pool and enjoy free drinks. More and more people are also choosing to organize their trip by themselves.

All inclusive contra expeditions

I was on all-inclusive holidays. Unlimited amounts of drinks and food. This form of recreation is still very popular. You do not need to think about anything – there is food, there is water, there is alcohol. Morning lounger, disco evening. Animations for children. Generally simply and pleasantly. However, they browse the offers of the largest travel agencies we can see new trends – the active trips. Each self-respecting office has its offer, i.e. Expeditions. So trips in a small group – usually from 6 to 12 people with a guide. You can then lick the local life. In my opinion, this is a great form for those who are afraid to set out for themselves, or do not know how to organize such a trip – and holidays over the pool is not their favourite form of recreation. There are even quite a few agencies on the market that only have such trips on offer.

They are less organized. You have the opportunity to decide where to eat or what you want to visit and in part what you want to do in a such place. Of course, you have to take into account the rather higher price for such an expedition. In addition, you usually pay for food, admission and transport from your own pockets. On all-inclusive holidays, you are not interested anything – except for the „good” poolside.

An active weekend. Poland or abroad?

Recently I had the opportunity to deal with the promotion of tourism in one of the regions in Germany. I must say that it was a challenge. I wondered for a long time why Poles were supposed to go there. What sets this region apart from so many unusual places, also in Poland. In fact, if you want to spend the weekend, you do not have to travel outside the country. Cycling routes, hiking trails, rafting or canoeing are all at your fingertips and not so expensive. In the face of so many possibilities, it is increasingly difficult to find those that distinguish a given region from among a thousand others.

This is great news for tourists, because it means that the regions will have to be hard-pressed to attract people. More attractions, wider accommodation and catering. Poland is increasingly winning – mountains, lakes, forests, rivers – you do not need a passport for children, close and safe.

Personally, I recommend constantly wild Bory Tucholskie and Pojezierze Drawskie. There are not many tourists here – so you can find here peace and quiet. There is also no crowds on the trail – and prices much better than those in Masuria.
